We regularly organize alumni reunions where former RUB students can meet up, receive awards and exchange ideas.

2020

Golden doctorate jubilee 2020

On January 30, 2020, the second interdisciplinary Golden Doctorate Ceremony took place at RUB. The Rectorate honored alumni who received their doctorate at RUB 50 years ago: 28 Golden Doctorates from 9 faculties.

2015

First RUB Alumni reunion

To mark the 50th anniversary of the Ruhr-Universität, the first interdisciplinary RUB alumni reunion took place in June 2015.

2019

Alumni barbecue with silver graduation ceremony

In 2019, a barbecue for alumni with a silver graduation ceremony took place for the first time. Alumni from all departments were invited. Alumni who received their doctorate at RUB 25 years ago were given special honors.
