- Application phase for group 1 from April 14, 2025, 12:00 noon - May 8, 2025, 12:00 noon: Re-applicants (scholarship holders since the winter semester 2024/25) and new applicants (current students and transfer students who have not yet received funding).
- Application phase for group 2 from July 10, 2025, 12:00 noon. - July 24, 2025, 12:00 noon: High school graduates and first-semester students / first-year students / university transfer students and foreign students.
- Ruhr-Universität Bochum reserves the right to invite individual applicants to personal interviews.
- End of October 2025: Dispatch of acceptances/rejections to the applicants
- December 2025: Mailing of the certificates to the sponsors and the successful scholarship holders
- Spring 2026: Scholarship ceremony for the funding year 2025/26
