The Alumni Management is responsible for interdisciplinary alumni work as well as contact for subject-specific alumni associations at Ruhr-Universität Bochum and offers a comprehensive range of services for all RUB alumni.

About us and our philosophy
Alumni management, as we understand it, begins with students in their first semester, because only well-mentored students can one day become alumni with close relations to their former university.
For years, the Ruhr University was a integral part of your life and shaped your development. In the same way, you shaped the University as a member of our community. We would therefore like to invite you to stay in touch - with us and with your fellow alumni from your time at the RUB. Anyone who has studied, taught or worked at the Ruhr-Universität can join the RUB Alumni.
Experience RUB
We regularly invite our alumni to events - from exclusive guided tours through catacombs and particle accelerator laboratories to a reception in the KUBUS of the Situation Kunst in Bochum-Weitmar. On request, you will receive news from the RUB and information about our events for alumni. This will keep you up to date with life on campus.
Maintain contacts and get involved
You can meet other alumni again, exchange ideas with lecturers and students. Get involved in our "Alumni for students" projects and tell us about your experiences from your professional life. There are exciting topics to discover at RUB, so be a part of it!
