Giving lectures as a RUB Alumni
We are looking for professionally experienced alumni who would like to pass on their practical knowledge to students. Share your experiences from your professional life and offer students impulses for their personal and professional development.
Depending on your subject area or profession, you can get involved in various projects.
Alumni from all walks of life
With its "Job Talks", the Career Service at Ruhr-Universität Bochum aims to give students from natural and social sciences aswell as the humanities an early insight into professional practice. Therefore, we are always looking for RUB graduates who enjoy sharing experiences about their career path and everyday work life.
During these one-off events, up to 25 interested students can have an informal exchange about specific topics. Some examples could include:
- What happens on a typical work day?
- What significance do extracurricular practice and professional networks have?
- Which soft skills are important in your professional life?
- How can the theory of the curriculum be transferred and adapted into practical skills?
Share your experience with RUB students!
- about two hours per lecture
- Lectures can take place all throughout lecture periods
- Lectures can be given digitally (via Zoom) or on campus, travel expenses can be covered
