BAföG
Benefits under the Federal Training Assistance Act - BAföG for short - are government loans that needy students can use to finance their studies, only half of which must be repaid with no interest.
The awarding of BAföG to international students is done according to §8 BAföG and is very complex.
At RUB, the International Office does not offer advice on BAföG, instead the AStA and the AKAFÖ take care of all matters related to BAföG, including information on requirements and regulations for international students.
