Good news for all prospective students: the application deadline for restricted degree courses at Ruhr-Universität has been extended to 20 August 2020. The application is now open.

Prior to the degree course

School students, school leavers, prospective students, and everyone else who would like to learn more about the degree courses offered at Ruhr-Universität are very welcome to explore our university: you can attend lectures on your own initiative, you can have our RUB Guides show you around the campus and the faculties, you can take part in orientation sessions and workshops, and you can take advantage of the services offered by the Student Advice Centre and Junge Uni – all this completely free of charge. We are looking forward to seeing you here.

Junge Uni shows school students and school leavers at any age how university works: long before leaving school or just before the A-levels, in compact information sessions or in intensive holiday workshops – there’s something there for everybody; our campus can be explored even by young school children. All services and events are free of charge.
