Bachelor’s / State Examination (Undergraduate)

• Application deadline for degree programs with restricted advanced semesters: September 15, 2026
• Application period for applicants with professional qualifications (for the 2027 summer semester): Early August 2026 until October 1, 2026

• The deadlines listed for undergraduate programs apply to both domestic and international applicants.

Bachelor’s

• Students ( enrollment in programs with no admission restrictions): through October 15, 2026
  Applicants for Bachelor’s degree programs with limited enrollment will receive the enrollment deadlines with their admission notice.
• Auditors: through October 15, 2026
  No admissions to programs with admission restrictions.
• Visiting students ( first-time admission): through October 15, 2026
• Students in higher semesters (programs with no admission restrictions): through October 15, 2026

Master’s

• Students ( enrollment in programs with no admission restrictions): through November 15, 2026
  Applicants for Master’s programs with limited admission or those administered through the service procedure will receive the enrollment deadlines with their admission notice.
• Auditors ( first-time admission): through November 15, 2026
  Enrollment deadlines for auditors at RUB’s continuing education institutions will be announced separately.

• Students in higher semesters (programs with no admission restrictions): through November 15, 2026

Doctoral students

• Year-round

Re-enrollment

• Students: July 1, 2026 – August 28, 2026 (payment of the social contribution)
  Re-enrollment is processed by the Student Affairs Office upon receipt of payment of the full social contribution.
• Leave of Absence: July 1, 2026 – August 28, 2026
  (Application to the Student Affairs Office)
• Visiting Students: July 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026
  (Submission of a certificate of enrollment from the primary institution for the 2026–2027 winter semester)
• Guest Auditors: July 1, 2026 – August 28, 2026
  Re-enrollment is processed by the Student Affairs Office upon receipt of payment of the full guest student fee.

In case of missed deadlines there is no legal entitlement to admission, enrolment, re-registration or leave of absence (§ 4 Abs. 5 Einschreibungsordnung)
